My custom built PC keeps freezing and I think it's because of an Intel service

I first asked about this in a Microsoft community here:

Custom built PC keeps freezing (OS is Windows 10 Pro) - Microsoft Community

For reference, here are the components I used to build the PC:

Intel Core i7-5820K, MSI GeForce GTX 960 - System Build - PCPartPicker United Kingdom

My PC hasn't frozen while in safe mode, and when I tried clean boot troubleshooting, the PC froze when just "Intel(R) Dynamic Application Loader Host Interface Service" was checked in the Services tab in the System Configuration tool. I was wondering if I could do anything to prevent the freezing. I could uncheck the box for the service in the System Configuration tool, but I'm not sure how important the service is, or if I could check for an update for it somehow. Please could someone advise me on what to do?
