Most likely not. There haven’t been any talks of releasing a Galileo Gen 3 or similar in the near future. Right now the focus is on the Edison. This doesn’t mean that there is never going to be a newer Galileo with a new Quark but this possibility has not been discussed yet.
As you can see, Quark D1000 has 33MHz in base frequency and its size is 6mm x 6mm. It can't be used in Intel Galileo Gen 3 I guess it maybe the next generation of Edison ?
