Stick hanging and logging EventID 153 after joining domain...

Greetings!  Running into the strangest issue ever, quite frankly I cannot even get my head around it...  Here is the scenario...

Updated BIOS to v0025 and followed the instruction guide to upgrade to Windows 10.  Used Microsoft Volume License media (Windows 10 Pro) and MAK Key.  Upgrade went great.  The stick ran great for a day and had a clean event log.  Today I joined to our domain and the stick began hanging, spiking Disk in Task Manager and logging the following to Event Viewer:

      Log Name:      System

      Source:        disk

      Date:          8/18/2015 12:33:14 PM

      Event ID:      153

      Task Category: None

      Level:         Warning

      Keywords:      Classic

      User:          N/A

      Computer:      (Machine Name)

      Description:

The IO operation at logical block address [Address] for Disk 0 (PDO name: \Device\0000002f) was retried.

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, same issue.  Here's the strange thing, I disjoin the domain and the hanging and event logging stops.  I rejoin the domain and the issue returns.

Anyone else seeing this type of behavior or is it just me?

      Cheers!
