Intel 5300 AGN and Windows 10

Hi,

i want to use this adapter with Windows 10. Intel want not to make a new driver for this card, what is very disappointing. (Because it's only the second last generation of centino ultimate card after 6300 and a product for professional use (vPro).)

Intel says that there will no support for this card in Windows 10, but Windows 10 has a driver for it. Is this driver only supported by Microsoft?

My question: Does this driver support all features of the card, or is it limited? If it is limited, which features will not work?

Which features would the Centrino ultimate 6300 card have additional? (compared with 5300)

Thank you for help!

CHRFR,

Yes, Microsoft* will provide the assistance since the drivers are theirs.

The feature that may not work when using Windows 10* will be Intel® WiDi as you can confirm here: http://supportkb.intel.com/wireless/wireless-display/templates/selfservice/intelwidi/# portal/1026/article/2511 System requirements for Intel® WiDi

Regarding the other features, please consult with Microsoft* for further assistance. On this new OS, the Windows Update is the premier starting point to resolve most common driver issues you might experience immediately after installing Windows 10.
