Hello,
First off, system specs :
Windows 8.1 x64
NIC1 : Intel I217-V (integrated)
NIC2 : Intel PRO/1000 GT Desktop Adapter (PCI Card)
The issue :
I've been updating drivers, and with that came the update of the network drivers.
I've downloaded the latest Intel Network connections installer (version 20.2) for both of my network adapters.
This setup should cover both of my adapters, as stated in the setup description.
The I217-V was correctly updated to driver version 12.13.17.4 dated 18 June 2015.
The PRO/1000 GT however, still has the default Microsoft driver (8.4.13.0 23 March 2010 if that's of any interest).
I've tried uninstalling the driver and selecting the 20.2 installer folder as a driver source, to no avail.
The Intel Update Manager can't find any update either.
I've looked for the specific driver of the PRO/1000 GT Desktop adapter but couldn't find it anywhere, every download on Intel's website points to the 20.2 Connections manager.
Any ideas ?

Driver and software updates are not planned for this adapter model that's why you can't find new driver release. For operating systems later than Windows* 2008, it uses the drivers available in Windows*. Here's a list of http://www.intel.com/support/network/sb/CS-034443.htm Intel® Ethernet Adapter Supported in Microsoft Windows 8.1* for your reference.
