    Require clarification on pedometer code using intel Edison

      Hi

       

      I am working on intel edison to implement pedometer (step counter) using LSM9DS0 (accelerometer device).

      In the below given document of intel edison native application guide contains a pedometer algorithm using MPU6050 in section 6.1.4

      I find it difficult to under stand the logic of this code.

      Can anyone please help me understand this code.

      I know there is other logic to implement pedometer, But my project require algorithms that approved by intel.

      So here I am trying to port pedometer logic in MPU6050 to LSM9DS0

       

      I need more clarification on the code like,

      Purpose of those scaling variables

      How vector sum has been calculated

      vector sum then divided by 2300 why it is so?
