these softwares have the same problem on quick sync video(with lookahead method enable).
when using lookahead,the encoder will error (freeze,crash...)
when lookahead method not been enable,these softwares perform properly.(though obs does not meet configure status)
they work perfectly on win7.
can someone confirm this issue?

Getting the same problem here, my software MAGIX Video Pro X7 doenst seem to recognize QuickSync now Im left with 2 that i cant upload

Same qsvhelper.exe Crashing Problems with OBS Stream Encoding Software (0.655) on Windows 10
After some hours encoding suddenly QSV is crashing. Tried with Latest Drivers 15.40.4 and the Release before too ....
Under Windows 8.1 and 7 no problems.
Can the Devs please have a look ?

Quicksync with the ICQ mode, causes Windows 10 to lockup hard, requiring a reboot using the power-switch.
Quicksync appears to be used by Steam as well and ALSO locks-up hard at defaults.
The LA (Look-ahead) options in OBS crash the QSVHelper.exe(32-bit) file regardless of OBS being 64-bit or 32-bit.

In order to try to reproduce the issue would you please provide us the system32 log files as well as the graphics and windows event report

could not find log files at system32
but obs has its own log files.

have found out where the bug is.
it's at lookahead down-sample (lads), the value could be setting at "-1,0,2,4"
it's unstable to set any vale beside 0.
suggest:"Don't use lads with QSV in Win10"

Hopefully you are right with the lookahead Setting.
At moment i'm back to Win 8.1 and avoid Win10 for Encoding ...
