I have this exact same problem along with mouse issues. This problem also occured when i moved from 8 to 8.1, and was pretty much fixed after downloading the latest driver. However I'm at this moment in time I'm not sure that Intel have pushed out a driver which will fix this problem, unless anyone can show me otherwise. I did temporarily fix the problem by plugging two monitors in to the integrated graphics card (DVI, VGA) and just running the one off my dedicated graphics card (VGA) for now.
The laptop has switchable graphics, this feature requires an additional driver and it is provided with your laptop manufacturer. According to Hewlett Packard website there are no compatible drivers with Microsoft® Windows 10 yet.
Can i just ask what the additional drivers are attached to? Intel? Hewlett Packard? I have the same problem with the PC I built.
This information is intended to all Windows 10 users that are experiencing issues with a supported Intel® Graphics Controller (supported graphics)
