I have just recently purchased an Intel Compute stick.
I have installed some basic Microsoft apps from the Microsoft Store like Microsoft Majhong, Microsoft Minesweeper etc and these installed perfectly and are working ok.
However, when I try to install Microsoft Solitaire Collection, I get this annoying error:
Something happened and this app couldn't be installed. Please try again. Error code: 0x80070057
I have tried, and retried but no success. I have uninstalled but it still seems to stop at the same point.
It appears to be restricted to this app only.
I have done quite a lot of research on the net, especially in the Microsoft forums, but still cant find a solution.
It seems like there is some corruption in the registries causing this conflict but I don't know how to fix it. Other sites suggest it might be related to System Recovery Partition.
It might even be related to how the image of Win 8.1 is stored and saved on the stick.
Has anybody else installed successfully Microsoft Solitaire Collection?
Has anybody help me please?
