How to do scheduled wake up / boot?

    MrOrced

I'm planning to equip several already installed displays with the Compute Stick as a kind of media player (videos, powerpoint).

I have a test stick and I am trying to do a scheduled boot or wake up. Unfortunately there is no option in the BIOS for this - nor is the hibernation of Win 8.1 accessable. I tried to use the task planner for waking up the unit from hibernation but it didn't work. With "sleep" the stick ignores the wake up task.

Is there a possibility to have a programmed schedule for startup/boot/wakeup?

A clock timer for the power is not an option due to space restrictions behind the pre-installed displays.

      Thanks for any advice.

          Hello MrOrced,

Upon verification we confirmed that the Intel Compute Stick does not have any wakeup option within BIOS so in this case you may need to get a third party application that provides with that solution for your device. My apologies for the inconvenience.

If you have any other question please let me know.

          Best regards,
