Best way to be sure the motherboard is faulty is to perform cross-testing.
Try a different compatible processor on the board and see if it works, if not, then it could be faulty
You can also try the processor on another board, it it works, then the processor is fine.
If the motherboard is not booting any more, no fan spins, no beeps when memory are removed and no power status led on, then there is nothing that can be done, the board may be faulty.
If the board is at least showing some signs of life, then you may try to clear cmos, and also try bios recovery.

If the bios recovery and the clear cmos did not make any difference, then there is nothing else I can advise than to get another board as this one could be faulty.
