I can't update my Intel HD Graphics 4000 graphics driver

Hi, I have a Toshiba Satellite S845-SP4336TL, and its customized Toshiba graphics driver is quite outdated, so I decided to manually install the generic one from the Intel download center, but when I'm going to install it a message appears saying that I already have the latest version installed, which isn't true. What should I do? Do I have to keep waiting for Toshiba to release an update? Because it's been almost two years

Try to force the installation of Intel generic drivers by performing manual procedure, see here for instructions:

http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-022355.htm Graphics Drivers — Computer Manufacturer Graphics Driver Detected

Select your operating system version and download the zip version of the video driver:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/search?keyword=3rd+Generation+Intel%C2%AE+Core%E2%84%A2+Processors+with+Intel%C2%AE+HD+Graphics+4000 Intel® Download Center

When installing generic drivers, know that all graphics features available for your graphics controller may not be available.

That's exactly what I tried to do, to manually install the driver, but when I select the folder where I unzipped the files, a message appears saying that I already have the latest version installed, which is false because I have the 10.x version and the latest one is 15.x

It seems that you need to wait for customized drivers provided by Toshiba.
