    bitbake menuconfig error with meta-clanton_v1.1.0

    dfwJones

I'm trying to run menuconfig and I'm having trouble. I can do a bitbake image-full and it seems to run ok.  I'm running Ubuntu 12.04

Here's the simple steps I'm using:

      I go to this page:

      https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/23197/Intel-Quark-BSP

      and download the BSP file:

      https://downloadcenter.intel.com/downloads/eula/23197/Intel-Quark-BSP?httpDown=http%3A%2F%2Fdownloadmirror.intel.com%2F23197%2Feng%2FBoard_Support_Package_Sources_for_Intel_Quark_v1.1.0.7z

      and extract the file:

      7z x Board_Support_Package_Sources_for_Intel_Quark_v1.1.0.7z

and then extract the clanton part:

      tar xzvf Board_Support_Package_Sources_for_Intel_Quark_v1.1.0/meta-clanton_v1.1.0-dirty.tar.gz

      then I build:

      cd meta-clanton_v1.1.0-dirty

      ./setup.sh (also tried ./setup.sh layer)

      source iot-devkit-init-build-env

      bitbake image-full

This takes the better part of a day, but seems to create all the expected files.

Then I try to run menuconfig by running bitbake in the meta-clanton_v1.1.0-dirty/build folder:

      bitbake -c menuconfig image-full

And this is what I get:

Parsing of 870 .bb files complete (0 cached, 870 parsed). 2098 targets, 90 skipped, 0 masked, 0 errors.

I also tried using nconfig in devshell:

      bitbake -c devshell image-full

      And I get the following:

In the new shell window I try running nconfig:

      make nconfig

      And I get this error.

make: *** No rule to make target `nconfig'.  Stop.

      Any ideas?
