Hello Arthur-B,

Please note that we do not have at this point drivers for Windows 10 as it is not an official Operating System yet. What happens if you try Windows 8.1?

It is also important to say that the computer you have uses a special driver since it has Hybrid Graphics. You can check more information about Hybrid graphics here:

http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-031103.htm http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-031103.htm

It is extremely important for you to get the drivers from Asus site directly as this driver contains special configuration that our generic drivers do not have.

Hello Kevin,

Thank you for the quick response,

I saw that you already provide drivers for windows 10 , and I am talking about those drivers. If I try to install the drivers for windows 8.1 they do not install even in compatibility mood.

I can use the drivers form Asus of course but they are form 2013 and I was hoping to get more form my graphic card even it is integrated by using the newest that come form intel.

Thank you again,

Arthur B

Yes , and that is the driver I am referring to that causes the BSOD issue. Is there any more info I can help you with to identify the cause ?

Windows Insider preview will have RTM status in a matter of days now.

I have the same problem on my lenovo t440s, it happens after wakeup from suspend but also switching screens with my dual screen setup.

i did not have this problem before looks like it is new in the latest intel driver or windows 10 build 10162.

At this point there is no support for this driver since it is still a BETA version but I will pass this feedback to development.

Thank you for the reply,

Arthur

I'm seeing this with the final version of Windows 10 Enterprise and the 10.18.15.4256 driver. I was hoping that problems like this would be worked out before the launch.

The problem persist on build 10240 even after the driver update

Intel HD 4600 driver 10.18.10.3379.01 (old driver, works perfect ) (From ASUS)

Intel HD 4600 driver 15.40.4.64.4256 (new driver, doesn't work )

I was able to get around it by updating the BIOS on my Elitebook 820

Sorry for double post. But seems this thread is more suitable for that report:

I have HD4600 GPU and I also have BSOD when my my desktop PC wakes up

The problem with doing that is MS will 'conveneinetly' update your Intel driver.

You also need to defer Windows Update for your changes to 'stick'. Otherwise Windows will download the Intel driver again. Go into your Advanced Windows UPdate settings and check off "Defer Updates". Deferring updates disables updates of things like windows drivers and what were traditionally called "Optional" updates in Windows Update. Critical updates still get updated even if you check this option off.

doyama, if you install driver manually through device manager then WU will not try to update it.

I can't seem to prevent Windows10 from updating it unless I click the Defer Updates. I can try to test a bit more but the Defer was the only reliable way I could find.

I had high hopes the WWDM drivers would solve my issue

Unfortunately it did not... Still crashing on sleep.

Hey, you can use Microsoft "Windows update troubleshooter" tool to prevent windows 10 automatic updates for any particular update that is causing issues with your computer and that is what I did. I uninstalled the latest intel graphics update and rolled it back to Driver version 10.18.10.4252, problem solved. Run the Windows update troubleshooter afterward and "hide" the intel graphics update. You can download the tool from this page:

I'm also having this problem on my Asus Ultrabook UX31L

Using the intel drivers the laptop sill bluescreen when coming out of sleep with various errors like igdkmd64.sys

Reverting to the "Microsfit Basic Display Adapter" does not cause this issue.

Reverting to an older Intel driver from Asus 10.18.10.3355 does not exhibit this problem

Thsi really needs to be addressed as without sleep mode my laptop is essentially a giant brick that I hve to leave plugged in and on constantly
