    NUC with GTX980

Apparently you just need M.2 to PCIe x4 adapter + PCIe x4 to x16 riser to get desktop video card(and separate power for the GPU oc) working on NUC.

Dear Intel, please add mPCIe port on gen6 NUC models.

          Thank you for the suggestion.

The previous models have mini PCIe slots. http://ark.intel.com/compare/76977,81165

            oh ok, didn't know that.

Wonder why companies like Gigabyte didn't make any Brix(with external mPCIe port) and external GPU(with casing and power adapter + PCI express card) to go with it, unless they weren't allowed to, or they didn't see the market potential, etc.

I know NUC isn't made for gaming and the performance will be reduced by using express card etc, but the whole setup should be less than 1.5lt(much smaller than typical small ITX setup) and I think people would buy them. I hardly play any games anymore but I'd buy one for NUC if such setup was available.
