I erased the rescue partition on the MMC, this is the partition that is used to flash all things edison. I thought it was dead.
Here is my post that helps detail how I fixed it, it should also help you.
If you choose to use this procedure it will reset your edison basically back to factory just like it was when you 1st turned it on.
Let me know if this helps.
I tried to run the procedure and the boot says the command doesn't exist.
U-Boot 2014.04 (Jan 30 2015 - 14:15:53)

I could flash using Flashing Intel Edison using only serial connection and wifi but after the login it gives me:
edison login: root
[ 133.920194] FAT-fs (mmcblk0p10): Unrecognized mount option "barrier=1" or missing value
No directory, logging in with HOME=/
[ 134.053058] FAT-fs (mmcblk0p10): Unrecognized mount option "barrier=1" or missing value
and the reboot command doesn't exists anymore.
Have you already tried flashing using the Flash Tool Lite? This new tool might help you recover your Edison. The flash tool lite can be downloaded from Intel® Edison Board Download | Intel® Developer Zone and the user manual here Flash Tool Lite User Manual | Intel® Developer Zone .
I flashed using the Flash Tool Lite and now look like everything is perfect!
