I'm running 184.108.40.2060 of the Intel Rapid Storage Technology software on a server running Windows 2012 R2 with a Z68 chipset.
The Intel RST software is configured with two RAID1 arrays (4 HDDs in total, one RAID1 for OS and other RAID1 for data).
The Data RAID1 is accelerated with an SSD within the Intel RST software.
On both RAID1 arrays, the "Initialized" value is set to No.
I want to schedule automatic verifications every month, but the software says I can't do it until I click on "Initialize".
So...if I click on "Initialize" within the Intel RST software, will it destroy my data on the disk?
Initalize the disks is like formatting them so you will lose the data, I suggest you create a backup first if you need to initialize then put the data back.
