I do not believe there are any replaceable lids for Intel NUC's on the market yet. Intel announced the lid and provided specs so that users could make their own lids if they have the tools, like a 3-D printer, to do so.
When looking for a third party manufacturer of lids, I would suggest looking for Intel NUC lids, not for a specific model's lids. The lids should be interchangeable among the models,
I only had a brief look at Intel instructions cos it didn't looked simple, but is it easy to design your own lids or do you need graphics software skills?
Also how much would it cost to get one printed if you took the design to local 3D printer service?
I think the whole process is bit complicated.. rather buy third party NUC lid but I couldn't find any seller on the net.
If you go to the expense of getting a 3-D printer, you've committed yourself to acquiring graphics design/drafting skills. Myself, I'm willing to wait for third party lid offerings while I enjoy using my NUC for the things I want do, especially during this early shakedown period..
