I am sorry about the blank results. You're not doing anything wrong. There was a graphics driver change and somehow the data in the utility didn't get updated properly. We will get it fixed. In the meantime, I know that there is a newer graphics driver available for the Intel® HD Graphics 4600 on your Desktop.
The laptop is older and there might not be any driver information available for that laptop and Windows 8.1, which is the most likely cause of your blank results.
Ok, thanks for your answer.
But it's not only the graphic driver a want to check. There are other components,
- Intel 9 Series Chipset Family Thermal Management Controller
- Intel 9 Series Chipset Family USB EHCI Controller
- Intel Z97 Chipset LPC Controller
- Intel Ehernet Conection 1218-V
....and many many many more stuff like that.
Thanks for the information. I found a bug in the data processing that explains why the Intel Ethernet Connection I218-V did not show up.I submitted a bug report to get it fixed.
I'm not sure about the other devices. If you can, please send me he Intel Driver Update Utility log file. You can find it by looking in the History tab and clicking the link to View log files.
I will contact you with a message with my email address so you can send me the log file privately. Thanks for your help.
I have same problem.
Several Intel device but Intel Update Utility finds nothing.
The only difference is that I have Windows 10.
The other thing is WiDi - it is not working and I can not upgrade it to newest driver.
Please also mail me for a check of my (single) 'debug' log file as I experience the same problem on my NUC5i7RYB (Cirrus7)
I am sorry you are not getting any results. I think I see the problem with detecting your NUC5i7RYB. There will be a back-end fix required on our database. As a workaround, please look at the Additional Options and use the "Search Manually" link. You will need to search on the NUC5i7RYH.
Sorry that you're not getting any results. In some cases there are not any drivers for Windows 10 to download yet. If you were getting results from the Intel(R) Driver Update Utility when you were scanning with your previous version of Windows, then there probably are not any drivers to download. Some drivers are only available through Windows update.
Thank you for reply.
Quite big isue I have is that I can not wake up the laptop when it hibernates. I read about updating chipset drivers but I am not able to.
Tried to install chipset drivers with no luck.
So, I will wait some time hopping that the drivers for Win10 will be available.
Do you know anything about WiDi? When can we expect to have it working?
I think I found the answer about Intel WiDI: The specified item was not found.. Unfortunately this isn't a fix, but it explains the issue.
I am not an expert at all on Intel WiDi, but I have noticed that for Windows 8.1, I can use the charms menu to use Miracast and don't necessarily need the software. Maybe you could do something similar in Windows 10. I'm still waiting for my Windows 10 upgrade, so I haven't tried Miracast in Windows 10. Also, I'm connecting to my TV through the Actiontec ScreenBeam Mini2. It's a newer generation receiver that seems to give better support than some of the older devices. So whether or not Miricast works might depend on your receiver. I had good luck with that receiver, but some people think it's a waste of money, so as they say, your results might vary.
Thank you very much. I searched information about it 29.07 with no luck but you did it one day later and found
I am using PS3 for it and till now worked quite good so I will for new software.
Have a good day!
Hi Mark, my apologies for my late response, but in the meantime and in addition to your PM.
I can report back that for me, on my Cirrus7/NUC5i7RYB running on Windows 10 Pro, the utility now automatically detects drivers using the (work around) NUC5i7RYB related NUC5i7RYH product setting.
I'll notice it whenever the NUC5i7RYB as a product will become available within the utility as soon as that "back-end fix" in the applicable Intel database has been implemented. Thanks again for the support.
