I have registered to receive the windows 10 upgrade in July. I have an HP pavilion 23 inch all in one with a touch screen, and Windows 8.1. I got a message from Microsoft saying that the Intel graphics 4600 device is not fully compatible with Windows 10, and I shall experience problems with my display......... This is disappointing. How will this be solved? Anybody else had this message? Any ideas welcome.

All,, Regarding messaging from Microsoft on Intel HD4600 compatibility with Windows 10. Microsoft has released the following KB information:
Check Windows Update for an updated version of https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2952664 KB2952664 (Windows 7 SP1) or https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2976978?wa=wsignin1.0 KB2976978 (Windows 8.x) then re-check upgrade compatibility
The issue is not Intel HD Graphics drivers. The issue is with the Microsoft tool that checks system upgrade compatibility.
Thanks
Robert

I have the same trouble with a Asus N550JK-CM131H i7-4700HQ/12GB/256GB SSD/GTX850 - 4GB/W8.1. Both HD Graphics 4600 ("you will experience issues with the screen") and Bluetooth Server ("may not work after upgrade").
I hope Intel can find a solution for this...
With kind regards,
- Johan.

I also encounter same problem with my ASUS N550JV. Is it still recommended for Win 10 update if so?

Same here with HP_Beats Envy 23!
Of coarse they will have added some kickers to this freebie update to Windows 10...
I haven't checked my surface pro 3 yet, I will be severely angry if even it can not be updated!

Intel® HD Graphics 4600 will receive support for Windows* 10 but the drivers will be available until the operating system's official release.

Thanks! So provision is being made. Will we get the support automatically?

There is a reason why your platform is called "Wintel". You are supposed to be working with Microsoft. Why is it then you have not told them to avoid bringing up this message.
Pathetic!

Hi It seems not all laptops with http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_c_0_5?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=intel&rh=i:aps%2Ck:intel Intel HD Graphics 4600 have this problem. As far as I know, the Dell XPS 15 has no issue with the Win 10 update.

Public review on Windows 10 was out on October 2014. It is really pathetic not to have drivers by now, after half a year! When it is a company with might of Intel, such an omission can only one thing: they don't care.
