P4208CP4MGHC After bios update: Pwr Unit Redund - warning

Hi

Hoping for some help to regain the psu reduncy on our P4208CP4MGHC system.

Everything is original and untampered.

During bios updates last night using OFU I noticed these messages:

After succesful completion of the flash and reboot we have this in the event log:

In the BMC web console server health I see this:

Is it something in relation to running the updates via OFU and the message stated immediately after starting the update sequece?:

"SDR Auto-Configuration is not supported on this platform"

Would rerunning the update package in EFI help the recognition of the psu´s?

Please if anyone has suggestions on how to work this out chip in.

I would try an AC cycle then run the FRUSDR again in EFI.

Part of the flash process, the system reads the FRU (Field Replaceable Unit) data to figure out which power supply is installed (465w, 750W , 1200w 1600w)

You may also want to confirm that the PMBUS wires (5 x1 plug) from the PSU is plugged into the mother board.

I will be trying out your suggestion along the lines of the reset of AC cycle and then retry reading FSUDSR. .

But since Im on a remote site I have to wait untill I have someone out there to help me out.

ill report back as I am able to move on....

I have done bios upgrades on the system in question before without losing its recpognition of the psu´s and system hasnt been moved around so I expect the 5 pin cable to be in place.
