So your issue is that it takes longer for the sketch to upload in the Galileo than on the Arduino? It usually takes around 2-3 seconds to upload a code to the Galileo. If it’s taking 10-12 seconds to upload a sketch then maybe there is an issue. Are you using the latest IDE IoT - Intel® Galileo Board Download | Intel® Developer Zone ?
Yes, I am using the latest IDE (1.6.0).
My problem is the second issue that you mentioned.
In typical approach I run Arduino IDE and then I write a program. The first compilation and uploading program to Intel Galileo board takes average 15 seconds. Next compilations and uploadings are much faster, near 4 seconds.
However, in my case I have to use command line from Arduino IDE. In every time it starts Arduino IDE, compile program, upload to the board and close IDE. All these operations takes 15 second in everytime.
I'm looking for a solution to make it faster. If it is possible of course.
I found the solution. In command line I add a pref parameter with build.path. The first program compiling is slow, but next compilations are much faster.
Thank you Alvarado for your time.
