Enabling hibernate in DG31PR - Windows Vista

    rajeevcrk

      Hi,

My computer has a DG31PR board and Windows Vista on it (its about 2 months old). When I first installed Vista I had trouble getting the hibernate option to work. If I put the computer in hibernate mode, turn off and then turn on the computer again the monitor would be blank( I can hear the fan running though). Then I changed the ACPI setting in the BIOS to "S1" and was able to get hibernate to work properly.

A few days back I did a clean reinstall of Vista. Now the hibernate option does not work again. The ACPI setting is still on "S1" and hibernate is enabled in Vista. I have been scratching my head on how to get it to work again. Could anyone please help me out on this?

      Thanks

      Rajeev
