I changed ISP few days ago.
On the previous, original protection was WEP, and i didn't notice any problem but the refresh of the icon in the tray after awake from hibernate.
The new one expose an WPA protection, and i have a new trouble: after hibernate/sleep, the card don't see any wifi network.
I deactivate the card and reactivate it and all is going back ok.
Intel or Seven trouble ?

I reinstall the drivers package, and ... all is going to be well again.
right reconnection at awakeness from hibernate, and icon is refreshed...
I too ran into a problem getting a Windows 7 driver for a 2915ABG and finally took the hint of simply trying the latest WiFi utility for XP. It was succesful!
I had been futsing around with the chipset INF utilities and other driver utilities on the Intel site when I came across this message board. I downloaded the "Intel PROSet/Wireless WiFi Connection Utility for Windows XP 32-Bit" and ran it on my Windows 7 Home Premium upgraded system. Immediately got a WiFi icon in the tray and saw connections!
