I ordered a INTEL X25-M SSDSA2MH080G2C1 and yet the model number on the ssd drive is SSDSA2MH080G2GC

Could any one tell me the difference between the C1 and GC as I feel that I have been tricked some how!

I have asked the shop I got the drive from and the reply I got was

"I have spoken to our technical support department and they have confirmed that the only difference with the drive is the firmware "

I am sure that intel do not put the firm ware version in the model number as the firm ware can be updated,

I have check the intel site, but I can find no ssd drive with the ending GC.

I hope some one can help me?

thanks

just noticed that my drive is also missing a "H" SSDSA2MH080G2GC

so the drive I ordered is SSDSA2MH080G2C1

and the drive I got is SSDSA2M080G2GC

sorry couldn't find a way to edit my 1st post

I'm in the exact same boat, except for a 160. Missing "H" and GC instead of a G1
