I accidently pulled out a drive while it was powered up. The error I get each time I power up now is "A Drive in RAID0 volume is failing. Try to backup data immediately." My understanding of RAID0 is that if a volume goes bad you've lost everything. Not true in my case. All my Apps and files seem to be running fine. Is there a way to correct this suppose error?
It works as design. When the RAID chip detects a drive is pulled out, it will report an error message. Then the RAID chip will try to start the RAID 0 volume. In your case, the RAID chip started the RAID 0 successfully so you can access the data. See http://www.intel.com/support/chipsets/imsm/sb/CS-020992.htm for information on RAID 0.
