i have tried updating my graphics driver 'mobile intel(R) 965 express chipset family' but it's failing any help??

i have tried updating my graphic driver because i am having trouble running software i need to use, i have tried updating my DDR/RAM and it's still slow, so when i looked for answers online i saw that the graphic drivers may need updating, So when trying to update using intel driver update utility 2.0 it find updates automatically i can download but when i go to install it flickers the screen but it then comes up as failed.

Any help?

Which version of Windows do you have?

Is it 32- or 64-bit?
