Please note that the “Windows Not Genuine” message is caused because the license not being recognized properly and this is not related to the drivers.

I followed the link, but in Method A, step 1 it tells you: 'If the Plug and Play service is configured through a Group Policy setting, you see it here with settings other than Not Defined. Additionally, you can see which Group Policy is applying this setting.' However, all of mine are listed as Not Defined. What do I do in this situation?
In this situation, You need to contact Microsoft to get the license code or the Operating System version activated.

I do have a question before I call and wait on hold with Microsoft, I'm not trying to be difficult, just trying to understand these processes. Why would I need to call Microsoft to activate my OS when it is already activated and has been since 2010? (The error came after I did a bunch of driver updates) Also, my error code is NOT the same as the link you gave me....my code is: 0x8004fe21. I hope this helps to aid in better explaining my issue.
This is because any of our drivers we have should affect the Operating System. There have been cases where running Windows updates may do a change on the Operating System.
