I'm not quite following you. Are you able to access internet? Or is that what you are asking? If so, I'd suggest you to check Intel Galileo Meets Wireless - Malinov Family Web Presence
Or are you asking how to access a PC remotely from your Galileo? If so, and if you are on the same network as the PC you can access it using SSH on the Galileo. Type ssh YO:UR:PC:SI:PA:DD:RE:SS in your Galileo and it will ask your PC's user and password.
Please let me know if I understood you correctly.
Thanks for the reply Peter!
What I meant is,
When I connect Galileo to my home wifi, it asks for a pass-phrase and connects immediately. ping google.com works perfectly with no packet loss.
But when I try to connect Galileo to the Eduroam Wifi, it is giving me that error which I mentioned. I did some research on that and found out that a ".config" script has to be written with the username and password which can be executed in putty for the connection. Any ideas on that?
Oh, I see. What kind of security does the Eduroam network has?
My home connection is detected as "psk" which works.
Eduroam wifi shows ieee8021x.
So when i connect to it, I get the error: " /net/connman/service/wifi_0cd292d3b6e8_656475726f616d_managed_ieee8021x: Invalid arguments "
Are you using ConnMan instead of wpa_supplicant to connect to the internet?
Which image are you using?
