Vlan tagging does not work, Intel Pro/1000 MT adapter

      Hello,

I am having big problems with a server using Intel Pro/1000 MT Server NIC adapter. I am using the latest Intel Proset to define VLANs, but it simply does not work.

The untagged vlan is working, but anything tagged is not. I know my switch configuration is correct. I have looked at the traffic and the adapter does tag the outgoing frames with the correct 802.1Q tag and the correct vlan number, but when the return packet (e.g. icmp echo) reaches the vlan adapter it is dropped. It is as if the adapter does not "remeber" / "knows" which vlan it is.

The server operating system is Windows 2003 SP2 32-bits.

Does anyone have any clues how to fix this?
