I gave my mainboard to servis. They say they can manualy program my BIOS into flash memory if they have its binary image. I need recover my BIOS but standard intel recovery isn't working, it is probably corrupted too as long as it is one part of flash memory.
Thank You for Your time, best regards Vladimir Belohradsky
Well, there is a method called Recovery Bios Update. This has always been the most reliable method to recover a bios.
As suggested by our friend, all the instructions are found on the link, try to see if you can do it by yourself.
I would suggest you to do it through a CD.
Download the .bio file on to the CD,
Follow all the instructions from the link.
If you need help, let us know.
All the best,
Nope, it is not working. I tried it many times with many methods using different formats etc. Recovery BIOS Update is unfortunately firmware based. I guess it is also corrupted as well as BIOS. Or not? If not, is there something why it doesn't read from CD or USB key? For example my DVD rom is connected via ATA. Could it be SATA based DVD rom only? I read all online manuals and how to's which are here.
Thanks for your attention. Best regards, Vladimir Belohradsky
What I have some marginal success with is:
download the newest bios for your motherboard from the previous link - Get the *.bio file
Copy it to a formatted, but empty USB thumb drive
On my mobo, I would remove the bios update jumper, don't know about yours
Put the USB drive in a slot, restart the computer, hopefully you will have video outlining the steps being undertaken
When finished, shut down, replace the jumper, and reboot.
If the stars are all aligned, your PC will boot
