It could be your type of memory. Lot of people had problems with OCZ memory with this board. However when you updated the bios it should of fixed any issues with your ram. Did you make sure your bios number changed to the most recent? Also make sure your timings and voltage is set right in bios.

i had the same prob with this board, i gave it back to the vendor from whom i bought it. there was a prob in the cpu socket, 2 pins were not at the level of others, infact they were down, which were not coming intact with the processor chip. after bringing those pins to the level of others my prob solved. may be this is the case for u, coz i didnt damage those pins, the board was new. hope this help.
