Intel Integrated Graphics HD 4000 Missing from Device Manager

2 months ago, I inserted a Raedon Graphics card into my computer and everything was fine and dandy. However, my graphics card started to fail so I thought I'd switch back to integrated graphics. However, I cannot do this because the Intel Integrated Garaphics HD 4000 is missing from the display adapters category in device manager. How can I go about enabling my intel integrated graphics.

You may want to make sure the integrated graphics device (Intel) is enabled in BIOS.

I got the same issue after I upgraded to windows 10. I don't even have an option to enable in BIOS. Is there any other way?

Hi Joe,

Do you have a solution for this issue?

Thanks,

Vijay

What kind of system is it? Did you install and then remove a PCI Express graphics card?

Try uninstalling Intel® HD Graphics, reboot, and then install it again.

I am guessing there is something wrong with the registry. I used an external app called DoD to completely uninstall all graphics drivers from the system and reinstall them.

While doing so it also deleted some registry entries.

Did you manage to install Intel(R) Graphics Driver?

Please bear in mind once you install a video card on the computer, the on board graphics gets electronically disabled.

Allan.
