I have the latest BIOS loaded. The common factor here seems to be Intel. N.B. "Me109" is using a Liteon ssd and I am using a Crucial one !
The bios link you quote is for a NUC5i3RYK - I am using a NUC D34010YKH.
I have tested the NUC, but I have not been able to detect this behavior.
Please let me know what is the operating system and if you have updated the BIOS.
The OS is Windows 8.1 64 bit with all current updates.
The BIOS is version 037. The release notes for version 038 do not indicate any relevant changes.
This fault has only occurred once in aprox 8 weeks of use but member "ME109" has seen the same issue on a different model of NUC and with a different make of ssd drive.
N.B I am using a NUC D34010YKH whereas the original poster is using a NUC5i3RYK..
Strange that two different generations of NUC have experienced the same issue.
