Just in case anyone is curious as to how the warranty returns process works:
I have now had a phone call from a charming lady and my NUC is being picked up tomorrow by DHL. It is being taken to Intel Holland and then a replacement NUC will be despatched from Holland and delivered by DHL.
Quite a lengthy process but I guess it will be worth the wait!
