Do you mean HyperX Impact memory from Kingston? All HyperX are gaming memories, higher clocked and usually more expensive than what NUC needs. Since you are already looking at buying Kingston, I would suggest you go to Kingston.com and use the Memory Search function to find the correct memory module part numbers to purchase.
Has anyone used the Hyper Impact 16GB DDR3 PC1866 CL10 memory in the Latest i5 NUC 5i5RYH and if so do you need to change in BIOS settings to get it to work? Thanks
Personally, I haven't but ended up buying Kingston Hyper X 1600 DDR3 1.35v 8GB kit as a back-up if the Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB kit didn't work...but it does and works great.
I believe the 1866 DDR3 1.35v sticks will work in the NUC i5 but I don't know if its on Intel's list of compatible RAM. BIOS had no problem setting up my Crucial ram.
Is this the type you're looking for ? HX318LS10IBK2/16 from Amazon.com
I can confirm to you that this memory HX318LS10IBK2/8 works on this NUC:
So far I have been using it just fine with any Operating System and having both memory slots populated (16GB).
