Hello, I am changing out my motherboard and removing/reinstalling my I7 4770k processor. The processor came apart while doing so. The top metal part, which has the intel information about the processor which is the heat collector, I assume, separated from the bottom circuit board. Is this a problem? Looks like there is either a silver thermal paste or a glue of some sort that this was attached with. Is this normal or is it broken now? If it is normal, do I clean the thermal paste and reapply? What should I do?

Thank you,
