i think that i'm in trouble..

i've not found grub-legacy items in layout.conf when i want to build a flash image.

so i copied my grub.efi file generated in grub-legacy/  to meta-clanton/../grub/.. and build the flash image ..

when i programming flash.cap in spi-flash,it did not work, when completed.the board did not reboot and hanging there...

i think i broke my board ...so sad..

what is the correct way to use grub that  i've build .

      my bsp version is 1.1.7.

      thanks .

          Hi neo-v,

First I suggest you to use Quark BSP 1.0.1, you can download it from here, this is the latest validated BSP for the Galileo Board (if this is the board you are using). The BSP guide for 1.0.1 is in here. Also, if you create the file system with the BSP, whether you create the SPI flash image or the full image for SD it will generate the grub.efi in ./tmp/deploy/images, there is no need to create a new one and replace it with the one built with the file system.
