It’s better if you compile it in the system you are using. I’d suggest you to build the standard image using the BSP. Once the image is built you can build an SDK and compile your applications using that image in Ubuntu, but using the image that you will have in the Galileo. I hope this helps.

is it possible to do i2c spi kind of communication using c code for the libraries present in galileo linux.
even though we can accomplish this using arduino ide.
but still i want to know?
can we actually develop a i2c and spi drivers.
for intel galileo if yes how?
