      Hello,.

      This link points to edison_image-ww05-15

      http://www.intel.com/support/edison/sb/CS-035180.htm

      Are there instructions on getting and downloading newer yocto image  on Edison

      I am looking for some fixes in newer image .

      Thanks

          Hi hemantt

          The edison_image-ww05-15 image is the last one you can check this in your board with:

          root@edison:~# configure_edison --version
          root@edison:~# configure_edison --latest-version

          With --version you will get the version you are using and with --latest-version you will see the latest image available. You should get as outcome 120 using both lines.

          Were you able to flash the image in your board?

          Could you tell us what kind of issues are you getting with this image?

          Regards;

            One of the change I was looking for slowing down the frequency / clock of Edison to 100 k so it can talk to slower seeed i2c motor driver. This is done in mraa library where we can call mraa api to change frequency but mraa library had a bug  where it will not change the frequency.

            So I was planning to use new image yocto and after that upgrade to newer mraa.

            Ism also not sure which version on mraa have this fix.

              Hi hemantt

              Which MRAA version do you have in your board?

              You can upgrade the library with the next lines (This will give you the latest MRAA version):

              root@edison:~# echo "src mraa-upm http://iotdk.intel.com/repos/1.1/intelgalactic" > /etc/opkg/mraa-upm.conf
              root@edison:~# opkg update
              root@edison:~# opkg install libmraa0

              Could you post how are you changing this frequency with the library?

              Regards;
