Hi
I have a lenovo y510p, with intel hd4600 integrated and nvidia 755m dedicated graphics. i recently installed the drivers for my integrated graphics HD4600 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/24785/Intel-Iris-and-HD-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-8-1-64-bit Intel® Download Center v15.36.18.64.4156, but after updating I am not able to play any games with the high performance nvidia graphics it starts with a black screen and nothing happens. if i chose the game to start with the integrated graphics it will start but performance will be very low. So after i rolled back to drivers from here https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/24329/Intel-HD-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-8-1-64-bit Intel® Download Center v15.33.30.64.3958 then it works fine with both the graphic cards. just to be sure i tried to update again and same problem
any help???

Hi goldsmit409
Lenovo customizes the Intel HD Graphics driver specifically for their systems. Additionally, you have a Hybrid Graphics system with both Intel and NVidia graphics that Lenovo has validated their customized driver to work properly on. I would strongly recommend only using the Lenovo supplied driver for your system so that it will operate as intended by Lenovo.
You can check the Lenovo support site for your system to see if there arte an driver update specifically for your system. http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/ideapad-y-series-laptops/ideapad-y510p-notebook?type=Laptops-and-netbooks&c=1 Laptops and netbooks :: IdeaPad Y Series laptops :: IdeaPad Y510p Notebook - Lenovo Support (US)
Thanks
