    i7 920 Processor Showing Only 1 core Enabled ?

    war994

Hi I can only get my system to boot in to windows if I select one core in bios . After I boot the system I can change to all cores in bios, only if I select one processor in the advanced boot menu in windows. This will then show eight cores in device manager all working properly.
However verious test programs show only one core enabled and low performance confirms this is the case. If I uncheck one processor in the advanced boot menu the system will crash at the next attempt to boot, untill one core is selected in bios.
I have updated all drivers and bios.
any ideas on how to enable all cores.
