RAID 0 to RAID 5

I have 2 terabyte drives in a RAID 0 config. It has Intel Rapid Storage Technology Enterprise Software and an Intel C600 Series Chipset SATA RAID Controller.

I have a new drive on the way, What will I need to do to go from RAID 0 to RAID 5?

You do not need anything. One of the three drives will be used to store parity info. The array size is twice of the smallest drive. It is best if all the drives are the same.

I have much information that states that, but nothing showing how its done. what and how is the migration kicked off to let it know to migrate from raid 0 zero with 2 to raid 5 with 3?

After you add the new HD, the rapid storage tech would open to notice the new HD. Then it asks you what to do with it. You have the option to add to the existing RAID 0. Then you have the option to migrate to RAID 5.
