cp: cannot stat ‘/home/hyon/Edison/edison-src/build/tmp/deploy/images/edison/vmlinux’: No such file or directory

Thought this would have been fixed a while ago? which image is your build based on?
Anyways, it's not a severe error. Unless you want to use OTA upgrades later on you don't have to fix it.
Otherwise a workaround is to create symbolic links to the "missing" files (which in fact are not missing but just in a different location).
and well - vmlinux is bzImage as far as I remember
Extract to some place.
I exactly followed http://www.intel.com/support/edison/sb/CS-035278.htm
But the error was happened.
I did it twice, same error happened.
Can you reproduce this error by doing above two things? (Download, follow the document)
Hi, where is the git repository of current edison yocto project (development page for edison-src-ww05-15.tgz) ?
I think there is an error in postBuild.sh, still it is looking for vmlinux, not bzImage.
same today ... where to commit that fix if there is one ? in yocto edison branch ? but it seems too old and unrelated , is it ?
Thanks for reporting this, we will review this issue.
I encountered the same error as well. But does it really matter? Can I go ahead and run the flashall script despite this error? Or do I need to rename bzImage to vmLinux? What does one need to do to resolve the error manually?
as long as you don't want to use "reboot -ota" it doesn't matter
