These are some recommendations I could give you in order to solve this situation.
- What is the exclamation mark showing?
- Can you try a different driver version? http://www.intel.com/support/wireless/wtech/proset-ws/sb/CS-034041.htm
- Can you check if the card is properly installed? Can you try to remove it and reseat it again?
- Can you shut down the system, unplug the power and power it on again?
911Bob: It has been over a month since I assembled mine, and I seem to recall having the same problem. My recollection is that it was a driver installation issue, and that you had to install every driver and driver set at the Intel website, with the possible exception of the CiR stuff and after a while, it just worked. Sorry this is not more precise, but maybe someone from Intel will see this and explain things better.
