Yes it is possible to compile .cpp files, one way is by using gcc command. You just need to add the libraries and all of the dependencies it needs to compile it but you would have to test it to see if it works as it should.

Linux x86_64 , Linux i686 Package, Linux amd64 Package, Linux i386 Package, Linux ARM Hard Float.

The *.so would be precompiled. Thought you were asking for compilation on your own?
Anyways, the i686 would be the right version. But unless it's compiled for eglibc (or uclibc - dependent on which image you use) it probably wouldn't work. So you may have to really compile it for your target.
