I took a look. The JS code examples are for nodeJS and written with the: var iotkit = require('iotkit-comm'); syntax.
I'm looking for an HTML5 example that shows up to load the iotkit-comm library in a web application (not a node application).
You might also be interested looking into the XDK for IoT. There is at least one sample (temperature) which shows Node.JS on Edison and a HTML5 "companion app" running on Android/iPhone/browser - all generated by the XDK.
The XDK IOT examples are all using JS on the client (HTML5 app) and JS on the server/IOT device.
I'm looking to connect a client running HTM5/js app conecting to a edison running a C app using the iotkit-comm-c library.
If the iotkit-comm-c and iotkit-comm-js libraries are built correctly, I should be able to "browserify" the iotkit-comm-js library and use it in an HTML5 app. The question is has anyone made an example of iotkit-comm-c and iotkit-comm-js talking to each other?
