I wonder why intel HD graphic with display port option is not recognizing 1536 X 2048(vertical) resolution. The system is equipped with intel celeron mailto:N2930@1.83GHz N2930@1.83GHz. Is there any reason for this? What would be a solution for this. I have LG LP079QX1-SP0V Monitor and can't have the monitor working with intel HD graphic. For your reference, Nevidia GTX 760 is working fine with this monitor. Is this the driver problem? Please help me with a solution.

The graphics controller can go up to 2560x1600 at 60 Hz depending on the computer manufacturer.

Hi W.Bae,
Most important thing to understand here is that on Baytrail, only DP supports resolution up-to 2560x1600. HDMI only supports up-to 1920x1200.
I'm considering you have connected it using the DP port only.
Here is the breakdown:-
eDP1.3 10.8Gbps (x4 2.7G) supports upto 2560x1600x24@60
DP 1.1 10.8Gbps (x4 2.7G) supports upto 2560x1600x24@60
HDMI 1.4a 148.5 MHz supports upto 1080p@60
Now to attain a resolution of 1536x2048 we need to set custom resolution. But on Baytrail custom modes addition is not supported on LFP/ Digital interface HDMI /DP.

Do you mean that there is no way to have custom resolution with mailto:N2930@1.83GHz N2930@1.83GHz?

"Different technology", same problem.
Always black screen. (BIOS, Linux, Win 95 - Win 10)
Display works perfect with AMD APU A10-6800K, Nvidia GTX 980 ti and USB GPU.
