Windows 10 does not impact the Compute Stick schedule at all, since it will ship with Windows 8.1 with Bing.
OK, shipping with Win 8.1. That's fine, but will we be able to update to WIN 10 when it is released?
Yes, you'll be able to upgrade to Windows 10. The only gotcha will be that if you have to do a Windows Recovery for any reason after that upgrade, you'd end up back at Windows 8.1, since that is what will be on the recovery partition.
Why don't Intel make a Windows 10 image that can be installed on the compute Stick so we also get the recovery partition?
I know Intel is internally working with Microsoft* but at this point Intel cannot create and make any Windows* Operating System available for customers due licensing and agreements with Microsoft.
