Hello Gland, thanks for joining the Intel community.
These are some troubleshooting steps you can follow for this kind of behavior:
- Test the system using minimum configuration out of the chassis (motherboard, processor, and power supply) No memory. Since there is no memory on it, the system should give 3 beeps.
- Remove the CMOS battery for about an hour http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/sb/CS-002839.htm
- Add one memory stick and try to access the BIOS. Once you are in BIOS please check which is the BIOS version.
- If the board is running the latest BIOS version available, you could try installing a previous one. It will be necessary to follow the recovery method Desktop Boards — Instructions for Recovery BIOS Update
